Great conditions for the holidays
Plenty of fresh snow in Alpe d'Huez this week, with little top-ups every day to keep things nice and soft. Holidaymakers are here, but if you get up early you can beat the crowds. Half an hour can make a world of difference.
Conditions are excellent all around, with most of the pistes open, snow depths stand at 215cm at the bottom of the slopes and 324cm at the top. The freezing level is hovering around resort level so the snow lower down is a bit wet, but this improves as you go higher. We're expecting more snow this weekend, so there should be some great skiing.
