About Alpe d'Huez Ski Lift Opening Dates
The extensive network of Alpe d'Huez lifts are open both in summer and winter. Find out winter opening dates of the Alpe d'Huez lifts to help you plan your holiday.
The high altitude of Alpe d'Huez means that it often benefits from a long consistent season with plenty of snow cover from beginning to end. The start of the season can vary depending on weather conditions but normally skiing can be guaranteed from the beginning of December.
Alpe d'Huez ski area is scheduled to open from
3rd December 2016 to 23rd April 2017
Partial opening in early & late season snow conditions permitting and dates subject to change dependent on snow cover and conditions.
If you're skiing over to other villages in the Grande Domaine ski area, be aware of the times of the last lifts to get you back to Alpe d'Huez centre:
- Auris-en-Oisans: 16:15
- Villard Reculas: 16:20
- Oz-en-Oisans: 16:30
