F1 driver to compete in Alpe d’Huez Triathlon
Team Haas' Romain Grosjean to take part on August 3rd
Following the Hungarian Grand Prix on July 29th, Franco-Swiss Formula one driver Romain Grosjean will travel to the Alps to take part in the 2018 Alpe d’Huez Triathlon.
On August 3rd Grosjean, who flies under the French flag but was born in Geneva, will take part in the 1.2km swim, 28km bike ride, and 7km swim in the alpine resort. Included in the course is the infamous hill climb stage featured recently in the Tour de France.
Many specialised magazines rank the Alpe d’Huez Triathlon among the most mythical races in the world, a race that every triathlete should compete in at least once in his life. Some of the greatest international elite triathletes will be present during the week.
