Light, powdery snow in Alpe d'Huez
70cm of fresh snow have fallen in the past couple of days
The slopes of Alpe d'Huez are enjoying another massive snowfall, it seems like this season we're having one snowfall after the other. There are currently 167cm of snow on the lower slopes and 240cm up at Pic Blanc (3300m).
More snow is coming on Friday and Saturday. Thanks to the low temperatures, the snow is light, soft and powdery. The avalanche risk currently stands at 3/5.
