Be it taking a peaceful and tranquil tour of the historic church or the hustle and bustle of an ice hockey match, there’s always plenty of things to do away from the slopes here in Alpe d'Huez.

Here's a quick update on what's on in resort up to the 17th December 2016.

Wednesday 7th December

  • 2.30pm – Guided tour of the historic church of our lady of the snow. 1hour 30minutes in duration. Open to all. €5.
  • 5.30pm – Guided visit and tour of the museum of the local Huez and Oisans region. 1hour 30minutes in duration. Open to all. €5.

Thursday 8th December

  • 10.30am – Guided tour to the summit of the Pic Blanc at 3300metres. 2hour duration. Open to all. €5.

Sunday 11th December

  • 7pm – Exhibition of ice hockey at the ice rink. 2hour duration. Open to all. Free entry.

Tuesday 13th December

  • 10.30am – Guided tour to the summit of the Pic Blanc at 3300metres. 2hour duration. Open to all. €5.

Wednesday 14th December

  • 2.30pm – Guided tour of the historic church of our lady of the snow. 1hour 30minutes in duration. Open to all. €5.
  • 5.30pm – Guided visit and tour of the museum of local Huez and Oisans region. 1hour 30minutes in duration. Open to all. €5.

Thursday 15th December

Friday 16th December

  • 3.50pm to 10.15pm – 20th Edition of the Trophee Adros Ice track racing series. High speed ice racing action at the ice race track

Saturday 17th December

  • 3.45pm to 10.15pm – 20th Edition of the Trophee Adros Ice track racing series. High speed ice racing action at the ice race track
  • 6pm- Exhibition of the acrylic artwork of Christian Longchamp at the leisure centre. Open to all. Free entry.
  • 7.30pm – Ice hockey match at the ice rink, Alpe d’Huez take on local rivals Serre Chevalier. Open to all. Free entry.

The ice rink is now also open for the season to enjoy a skate around.
