Lots of entertainment for when you've finished skiing
Whether you fancy a trip to the summit of the Pic Blanc, trying curling or visiting the museum, there’s always plenty going on away from the slopes.
Here's what's on the entertainment programme in Alpe d'Huez this week.
Wednesday 15th March
- 10am to 1pm – Ice garden and games at the ice rink. 5 to 12 year olds. Free entry, but skate hire is required.
- 2pm to 4pm – “Goodies for tricks” at the snowpark on the DMC slopes. Are your tricks good enough for some goodies?...
- 2.30pm – Guided tour of the historic church of our lady of the snow. 1hour 30 minutes in duration. Open to all. €5 cost.
- 5.30pm – Guided visit and tour of the museum of local Huez and Oisans region. 1 hour 30 minutes in duration. Open to all. Free entry with a carte premium pass or €5 without a pass.
Thursday 16th March
- 10.30am – Guided tour to the summit of the Pic Blanc at 3300 metres. 2 hour duration. Open to all. €2 cost.
- 5pm – Night luge on the floodlight Eclose slope, behind the leisure centre. 8 years and over. Free with a lift pass or €1.50 for 1 run or €5 for runs without a lift pass.
- 5.30pm – Night/floodlight skiing on the Signal slope at the top end of town until 8pm. Free with your lift pass or €11 without a lift pass.
- 6.15pm – Classical music concert at the church, behind the leisure centre. €10 entry or €5 for students, over 65’s and carte premium pass holders.
