Le Roy Ladre Restaurant, Alpe d'Huez - Centre

Cosy pizzeria & Italian restaurant

Featured in:

| Updated

This charming little restaurant can be found in the old town of Alpe d'Huez, tucked away on a cobbled street.

It's a family run Italian restaurant, popular with locals and holidaymakers and for that reason alone it's worth popping in to make a reservation instead of chancing that you might be able to drop in and get a table.

The menu offers a good choice of pizzas starting from around the 10 euro mark and they also have a selection of pasta dishes from 13 euros upwards and some lovely steaks.

Open 7 days a week from 18:00 to 23:00.

  • "This restaurant is run by a lovely lady named Stephanie who takes so much pride in her little restaurant that it shows in her food and service. After a hard days skiing the pizza could probably serve a family of four although I pigged out and nearly finished it on my own. Wonderful time made special by Stephanie." - Trip Advisor
  • "Went with grandchildren and daughter and S-i-L this time- usually go with adults later in the PM but it was a great family friendly meal- with crayons for the children and as usual -a magnificent wood cooked pizza experience. The food and the atmosphere cant be faulted- glad we booked as it was busy ." - Trip Advisor
  • "Visited this evening (26 July 2016) with the wife (my wife) who isn't a pizza lover, unlike myself, I worship pizza. We received a very prompt and friendly greeting and was offered the choice of a table either indoors or outside. We opted to sit inside. Le Roy Ladre is small but very cosy and has a really authentic feel" - Trip Advisor
