Situated just 150m from the nearest lift, this hotel stands in the old part of Alpe d'Huez. The rooms are simple and light, with a traditional feel to them.

There are a selection of twin rooms, doubles, triples and quads to choose from, most are en-suite and most are south facing, many of them having a balcony.

Meals are served in the restaurant which is situated on the first floor and has a sun terrace leading off it. A selection of snacks are available from the restaurant during the day, and they can also offer you a selection of packed lunches to take up the mountain.

If you choose to stay on a B&B basis you are able to dine each evening in the restaurant and chose from the evening menu or choose a snack from their “apres ski” menu.

On the ground floor, there is the lively Underground bar for all your “après ski” needs with live music entertainment on offer in the evenings.

"A group of 9 cyclists stayed here for a holiday in Alpe d'Huez. The hotel is basic, but spotlessly clean and with all the facilities you need. Owners are fantastically helpful and couldn't do more to make our stay pleasant, going well beyond what we hoped for. Breakfast was great and served when we wished (we went at a very quiet time of year) and the restaurant/bar area was the perfect place for our group to relax with drinks from the bar." - Trip Advisor
"Stayed for a week from the 29th July, made very welcome on arrival. Gareth and Catherine are great hosts. Home cooked food was excellent and all staff friendly. The hotel is rustic but it is what it is and it is spotlessly clean. I was on a cycling holiday and the guys got up to prepare breakfast at 5am on two mornings so we were well fuelled up, porridge was spot on!!" - Trip Advisor
