Reviews

  • "This was our first family ski holiday and visit to this resort with VIP Ski. Highly recommended by friends who visited last year, we are already talking about another ski holiday next year. Our Chalet hosts Sisi and Andy were great, keeping us fed with delicious meals and superb cakes, every meal was a true delight. Their warm, friendly and fun personalities made our stay all the more enjoyable. All the VIP Ski staff we met, particularly our two nannies Lily and Ally were delightful, friendly, enthusiastic, fun, and professional. Thank you all so much for making our holiday one of the best. Enjoy the rest of the season. Love from Jane, Mike and Jamie xox" - Customer Feedback
  • "Fantastic holiday experience from the moment we arrived. The chalet is lovely , the best chalet we have stayed in. It is ideally located near the main lifts. The hot tub and sauna were very relaxing after a hard day on the slopes. We cannot thank Andy and Cissy enough for looking after us so well. From the cakes after skiing to the beautiful food, they were perfect hosts. A truly wonderful holiday." - Customer Feedback
  • "We had to wait for the snow but this did not spoil our holiday. We were a group of 12 'oldies' and the chalet and resort staff made us all feel really welcome from the start with our differing needs. Nothing was too much trouble and a smile always covered whatever they might have been thinking! The chalet ladies were great, producing delicious food, keeping us warm by persevering with the log fire every evening, cleaning up after us and of course - the early morning beverage delivered to our bedroom was always a welcome start - better than any alarm clock. This is our 4th time with VIP and 3rd time in Alpe d'Huez and we will be back. Thank you for giving us a great holiday." - Customer Feedback

Whilst the Edelweis and La Pomme de Pin, by the Ice rink offer traditional mountain cuisine and fondues. Around 45 minutes towards Grenoble is the historic town of Vizille with its museum and Chateau. Top flight rugby is played at the new Stade des Alpes by Top14 club Grenoble, which is around an hour away. The historic and incredibly picturesque ‘Route Napoleon’ runs from the area all the way to the Mediterranean, and follows the route taken by Napoleon upon his return from Elba in 1815 and links Grenoble with Cannes (N85).
