Alpe d'Huez Snow Report: 4th March 2014
Bring on the sun!!!!!!
It's going to be a cold-ish couple of days with gusts of wind bringing the wind chill down around -12 degrees in the day time today & tomorrow, but warming up again to above freezing by the end of the week.
The 12 day forecast says there's no fresh snow on the horizon until maybe next Tuesday, but there's plenty on the slopes and there was a top up of about 5-10 cm yesterday.
Alpe d'Huez is renowned for its sunny aspect, and after we get past Wednesday this week, be prepared to get your sun cream out and enjoy a nice few afternoons in the deck chairs or raving it up at the Folie Douce in the sun.. it's going to be great :-)
