Alpe d'Huez Snow Report: 18th February 2014

The higher slopes are in great condition with around 2.5 metres

There are a few snow flurries expected in the early part of this week with around 10cm due on Friday during the day.

The upper slopes have now got an accumulation of around 2.5m and the lower slopes around 75cm, so more snow for the lower pistes will definitely help towards the latter part of the season, especially as Alpe d'Huez is particularly known for its sunshine..

Talking of sunshine, Thursday & Sunday are looking like days you might need a bit more sun screen this week, and at the opposite end of the spectrum Friday & Saturday are going to be pretty cold with temperatures around -6 or -7 degrees C.
