Special events in Alpe d'Huez for the half term holidays

To coincide with the French Half Term holidays (and also the forthcoming UK school holidays) there are a few special events taking place each week in resort - for the next 3 weeks.

Wednesdays (10th/17th/24th) – at the Signal slope (top end of town, by the DMC lift)

Night time floodlight ski display by the ski instructors of ESF, followed by a torchlight descent and fireworks. Timings for this not to be missed event are Wednesday 10th at 6.15pm, Wednesday 17th at 6.30pm and Wednesday 24th at 6.45pm.

Thursdays (11th/18th/25th) – Avenue Les Jeux (the Main Street)

For the next 3 Thursdays the Main Street (Avenue Les Jeux) will be closed to traffic between 4pm and 9pm and will host a street party, including jugglers, stilt walkers and other surprise packages. Like the torchlight descents is not to be missed.
