Winter Ski Season Dates for Alpe d'Huez Ski Lifts
2012/2013
The high altitude of Alpe d'Huez means that it often benefits from a long consistent season with plenty of snow cover from beginning to end. The start of the season can vary depending on weather conditions but normally skiing can be guaranteed from the beginning of December.
Alpe d'Huez ski area is scheduled to open on 6th December 2012 until 26th April 2013
Vaujany is scheduled to open on the 15th December 2012 until 21st April 2013
Oz en oisans is scheduled to open on the 15th December 2012 until 21st April 2013
La Grave is scheduled to open on the 22nd December 2012 until 5th May 2013
Summer Season Dates for Alpe d'Huez Lifts
2013
There is a smaller selection of lifts open in the summer than in winter, generally opening between 8am-9am and closing around 5pm-6pm with some of them closing for a lunch break at midday!
This year the Alpe d'Huez summer lift system will be open from 6th July to 25th August 2013 inclusive, whilst access to summer skiing will open from the 6th of July and running as long as conditions allow.
