It has been mostly overcast this week in Alpe d'huez but the sun came out today and conditions were great. The forecast is for more clouds and some snow especially on Thursday and Saturday.

There has been some consistent sunshine this week in Alpe d'huez but the clouds moved in today and although the weekend is supposed to be sunny the snow is set to return on Tuesday night when 10cm is forecast to fall. more »

We want Video snow reporters for our Skinets sites over the winter. If you are already a video blogger or if you have always wanted to try presenting and reporting then this is the ideal chance to show the world what you've got.
Our reports go out once a week and cover everything from snow conditions and weather forecasts to apres ski tips and parties in town. We'll pay for each report and organise press passes for some of the biggest events of the winter.

Every year, when the lifts open, I rush excitedly to the top of the hill, strap into my board and set off for the first run of the new season. The cold, clear air in my nose and the sun on my cheeks I can't keep the smile off my face as the fresh snow creaks under my board. The whole day lies ahead from first lifts to last call. Or it would if I wasn't sweating, panting and massaging the cramp out of my calves at the end of the first run. more »
