Oisans Cols Closed for Cyclists
Road closures to allow cyclists freedom from cars
This summer the Oisans tourist offices have decided to close certain cols and roads to allow cyclists the freedom of the roads without having to worry about other traffic.
Closures are as follows:
9th July from 10:00 - 12:00 - the climb to Alpe d'Huez on the 21 bends
16th July from 09:00 - 12:00 - the Col du Sabot from Collet, near Vaujany
5th August from 09:00 - 12:00 - the Col du Sarenne, between the village of Perron and the altiport in Alpe d'Huez
12th August from 09:00 - 11:00 - the Col d'Ornon from Paute 2km from Bourg d'Oisans
22nd August from 08:30 - 12:00 - the Col de la Croix
